Youth development key to building football talent pool: Vladimir Smicer

Start young and focus on the youth to develop a talent pool – that is the advice from former Liverpool player and Czech international Vladimir Smicer. He said that is how countries like Singapore and the Czech Republic can do well in football despite their small size. Smicer is among several former players in town for the Premier League’s pre-season tour of Asia.
