Tennis star Novak Djokovic has won a court battle to stay in Australia, paving the way for him to defend his title at the Australian Open. Australia had barred the 34-year-old from entry, saying he was not exempted from COVID-19 vaccination rules. The Serb was detained upon arrival in Melbourne and has spent four nights in an Australian immigration detention hotel. The Australian Open begins on Jan 17 in Melbourne.
