Singapore and Malaysia hope to restore full connectivity in the coming weeks and months. Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan gave this update during a visit to Malaysia, where he spoke about bilateral relations that he described as “strong, dependable and trustworthy”. Singapore and Malaysia now see 180 flights between them every week — 40% of pre-pandemic levels.
