South Asia heatwave: India, Pakistan could see high temperatures last till end of the week

A harsh heatwave is sweeping through South Asia and is expected to continue till the end of the week. India already saw temperatures rising to around 40 degrees Celcius in some parts of the country on May 11 and authorities expect the weather to get hotter. Both India and Pakistan have been enduring high temperatures since March.
