Pilgrims hoping to travel for the annual Haj can expect not just higher prices, but also some uncertainty. While Saudi Arabia has said it will allow one million pilgrims — including foreigners — this year, there’s still no clarity on the quota for Singapore. Travel agencies also expect the prices of Haj packages to be higher than pre-COVID times. After two years of pared-down pilgrimages restricted to only domestic pilgrims, the trip is again a possibility to those outside Saudi Arabia. However, pilgrims must be vaccinated and younger than 65.
