Singapore will resume its earlier plan to streamline COVID-19 measures on Tuesday (March 15). This was meant to begin on Feb 25, but was put off when Omicron cases surged to about 20,000 a day. The pandemic taskforce said the situation is stabilising, and more patients have been moved to other facilities to ease the load on hospitals. Social gatherings remain at groups of five, but households can now receive any number of such groups of five throughout the day. Up to 30 vaccinated people can take part in team sports at selected venues without mandatory testing.
