Singapore to double down on efforts to be a “city in nature”: Desmond Lee

Singapore’s goal is to plant a million trees by 2030 and more than 315,000 have been planted so far. National Development Minister Desmond Lee has said the country will double down on efforts to be a “city in nature” even as it faces space constraints. He was at a tree planting and weeding event organised by the CNA Green Plan that showcases Singapore’s sustainability efforts.
