Singapore rolls out COVID-19 vaccinations for Primary 1 to 3 students

Singapore has started vaccinating Primary 1 to 3 students against COVID-19. At least one paediatric vaccination centre is expecting demand for the jabs to go up, and is deploying more staff. It comes a day after the country’s coronavirus taskforce reiterated the importance of vaccinations ahead of an Omicron wave. Vaccinations will next be extended to all other children aged five to eight who have not received invitations.
