Long-standing issues between Singapore and Indonesia are closer to being resolved. A number of accords — covering defence cooperation, airspace management and extradition — have been signed by Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Indonesian President Joko Widodo. This is the first retreat between the two leaders in three years.
