At the My Dinh Aquatics Centre in Hanoi, Singapore’s Gan Ching Hwee swam her way into the record books by winning the inaugural women’s 1,500m freestyle for her fourth gold medal at the 31st SEA Games. This makes her one of only three women swimmers in the Games’ history to win four freestyle golds in a single meet.
