In table tennis, Team Singapore have won their first gold medals in the 31st SEA Games. The first gold of the day though was guaranteed in the all-Singapore final, with Koen Pang and Wong Xin Ru defeating their more experienced teammates Clarence Chew and Zeng Jian. Chew then took to the table again with Ethan Poh for the men’s doubles final, beating the Philippines for gold.
