For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, spectators can tuck into a sandwich and wash it down with a cold drink while at a live sports event. 60% of tickets have been sold for this weekend’s HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens, with up to 12,000 fans expected each day. It will feature the likes of Olympic champions Fiji, 2020 Series champion New Zealand, while South Africa will be leading the charge after winning all four legs of the series so far. The last iteration of the Sevens was in 2019. Tickets for the postponed 2020 event can also be used this weekend.
