The Energy Market Authority will consider extending the Temporary Electricity Contracting Support (TRECS) if necessary. Second Minister for Trade and Industry Tan See Leng said the ministry is monitoring the energy situation closely. He added that further measures will be put in if there is a need, amid the increased market volatility.
