Flight data suggests China Eastern jet deliberately crashed: Reports

The probe into the crash of China Eastern flight MU5735 in March appears to be turning to actions on the flight deck. The Wall Street Journal and Reuters have cited preliminary assessments by US officials. Data from the flight’s black box reportedly shows someone in the cockpit pushed the plane into a near-vertical dive. Chinese authorities have not flagged any mechanical or flight-control problems. The Boeing 737-800 jetliner was en route from Kunming to Guangzhou when it descended more than 20,000 feet in over a minute. All 123 passengers and nine crew onboard were killed.
