The air forces of Singapore, Thailand and the United States are participating in a two-week-long multilateral aerial exercise at Thailand’s Korat Air Base. The 26th edition of the annual Exercise Cope Tiger had been put off for the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Twenty-four aircraft from the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) are involved, including the RSAF’s A330 multi-role tanker transport, an aerial refuelling tanker aircraft.
