Japan will gradually ease COVID-19 border controls, starting next month. Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said that under the new rules, quarantine for those entering Japan will be cut from seven days to three, provided certain conditions are met. More people will also be allowed to enter Japan, up from 3,500 to 5,000.
