Common assessment and intervention framework will help to better identify cases of family violence

A common assessment and intervention framework on matters related to family violence is in the works. This will allow the Social and Family Development Ministry and social service agencies to better identify cases of family violence. The aim is to enable timely referrals and address the needs of both survivors and perpetrators. A forensic-trained psychologist will also be attached to specialist centres to help families.
