COE premiums close mixed in May 6 bidding exercise

In the May 6 bidding exercise, COE prices went up in categories A and B, even though the supply increased by 14.3% across the board. The higher quota is available for the next three months starting from May. Premiums for smaller category A cars went up by $2,202 to $70,901. Bid prices rose by $2,088 for bigger cars in Category B to reach $92,090. Commercial vehicles dipped some $1,112 to close at $50,890. Motorcycle COEs went down by $312 to $9,489. Open category premiums fell by $4,689 to $91,112.
