Sport’s highest court has cleared Russian teenage figure skater Kamila Valieva to compete at the Beijing Winter Olympics, despite a doping charge against her. The Court of Arbitration for Sport upheld the Russian Anti-Doping Agency’s decision to lift the suspension. Valieva’s next event is the women’s singles competition on Feb 15, where she is favourite for gold. The International Olympic Committee has said there will be no medal ceremony if the 15-year-old finishes in the top three. It added that any ceremony will only take place once the doping case is resolved.
