87% of probation orders that ended last year successfully completed, highest in a decade: MSF

About nine in 10 people with probation orders due last year successfully completed them on time. It’s the highest rate of completion since 2012. The Social and Family Development Ministry said strengthening family involvement in the rehabilitation process is one key factor. Of the 59 who failed to complete their probation last year, 53% reoffended, while the remainder persistently failed to comply with the conditions. Those below 16 years old formed the biggest group that did not complete their probation orders.
