Transport Ministry to appoint Mr. Yuthana as SRT governor

Bangkok (Thailand), July 6 (CityNewsR): The Ministry of Transport is likely to appoint Mr. Yuthana Thupchareon as the governor of State Railway of Thailand (SRT). The proposal is scheduled to be brought up before the Cabinet this Tuesday (July 8th).

 

The caretaker Director-General of the Department of Rural Roads, Mr. Supot Saplom, says to designate Mr. Yuthana the SRT governor will help accelerate the implementation of many projects under the management of the ministry.

 

 

Mr. Supot adds that SRT committee will firstly give a hand to the newly appointed governor in an effort to expedite a number of suspended and new projects, including pending Chachoengsao -Laem Chabang twin highway and suspended airport link project.
