Bangkok (Thailand), July 4 (CityNewsR): Mr. Termsak Jarupan, one of the speakers on the protesting stage of the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) at Chamai Maruchet Bridge, announced that the PAD members and supporters have the right to assemble and they can use loudspeakers at the predetermined time. He said people have the right to assemble peacefully and without arms, as stated in Act 63 of the 2007 Constitution.

Meanwhile, the followers of the PAD were cheering after they were informed about the Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Persons Holding Political Positions’ order to prohibit the deposed prime minister and former leader of the court-dissolved Thai Rak Thai Party, Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra, from leaving Thailand. The order came after Dr. Thaksin requested to travel to China.

The PAD also launched verbal attacks on Mr. Sornram Theppitak, a Thai renowned celebrity, after he commented that he never participated in the PAD demonstration and also criticized the anti-government group.

The atmosphere at the rally has become more active, as traffic lanes on Phitsanulok Road have been blocked by the PAD demonstrators once again.
