Bangkok (Thailand), July 4 (CityNewsR): Media reports stated that the Criminal Court yesterday declined to issue preemptive warrants against the three lawyers of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra who were implemented in a bribery case involving 2 million baht being handed to Supreme Court employees. The three lawyers, including Mr. Thana Tunsiri, Mr. Pichit Chuenbaan and Miss Supasri Srisawas are currently being detained in prison.

The Criminal Court denied issuing a warrant, stating that as the 3 attorneys are already serving a sentence issued by the Supreme Court, they can easily be charged on other matters later.
